Description:

Practical Applications of NX as the initial class, is designed to launch students on the path of productivity. This course is designed to meet the student's expectation to transfer classroom instruction to productivity on the job.The Practical Applications of NX course ignites the student through professional instruction pertaining to product model design, product model detailing, assembly modeling and the basics of the master model concept.

UG NX - Milling Manufacturing Process (CAM)

 

Description:

In this course, the students will learn more advanced CNC manufacturing operation. All the industry manufacturing method, including planer milling, contour milling, multi-axis milling, and drilling etc., would be discussed in the class. After the course, the students are able to generate the CNC code for their particular machine.

UG NX - MULTI-AXIS MACHINING

 

Description:

The Multi-Axis Machining course addresses complex, fixed axis contouring as well as simple to complex 4- and 5-axis positioning and contouring machining operations of the variable-axis and sequential milling processors. In addition, full explanations and examples of using the various methods of tool-axis control are presented to fully comprehend the best method of use with specialized fixturing and machine tool configurations.

UG NX - POST BUILDING TECHNIQUES

 

Description:

The Post Building Techniques course is designed to acquaint users with tools and techniques that are used for building custom, machine tool specific postprocessors. This course teaches the necessary skills that are needed to build most machine tool specific post-processors using the Post Builder tool. For those postprocessors that cannot be fully developed using the Post Builder tool, methods are shown for customization and modification of the Definition and Event Handler files, utilized by POST/execute for specific needs.

The Turning Manufacturing Process course is taught from the perspective of an NC/CNC programming session and emphasizes advanced programming concepts and techniques, which take advantage of the latest developments in turning equipment.
